Know the right types of Hair products to use on your Hair.

You need to know the texture of your hair.   It's either straight, wavy, or overly curly hair.
Hair is hair!  It has the same internal hair structure.
Cuticle: Outside layer of the hair, it has the ability to open and close.
Medulla: Middle layer.
Cortex:  Internal structure, it's what strengthens the hair.

For wavy or overly curly hair, you need products for control, shine, and manageability.  I like to use the Bumble and Bumble Define for curly hair, and Oleo Relax, by Kerastase.

For straight and fine hair texture.  I like to use the Bumble and Bumble Thickening Shampoo, Conditioner and the Thickening Spray.

For color and chemically treated hair.  I like to use Bumble and Bumble Cream De Coco Shampoo and the Cream De Coco Masque and all of the Kerastase product line....

Have a great Hair day!

Cutting hair is an ART & it's Easy..

It's like drawing a picture.  You need to have an idea, and  an image of what you want to create.  I get a lot of my inspirations from magazine's, texture, colors, then you execute.   Just go for it.

How to find a great Hair Stylist.

When you are looking for a new Hair stylist, it's important they ask you a lot of questions about your hair needs.

I have a list of questions I ask my clients, before I work with them.

How much time do you spend on your hair daily?
Are you looking for a new look?
How was your last haircut or color?
What hair care products are you currently using & is it working for you?
These are just a few questions I ask.

One of the question I ask that often surprise my new clients is "what would you like your hair to say about you?"

When cutting hair, I take the time to cut the hair  wet & dry.  I do a lot of dry cutting because the hair is in a different texture.  I get to see exactly what the hair does when it's dry.

When you get a great haircut, it should grow out well.  I have clients that I haven't seen in months and their hair still looks amazing.

Good luck in searching for your perfect stylist....
